Three men were beaten to death in West Bengal’s North Dinajpur district after they were allegedly found stealing cows from a house. The deceased were identified as Nasirul Haque (30), Mohammad Samiruddin (32) and Md Nasir (33). While Nasirul was taken to Islampur subdivisional hospital after the incident and succumbed to his injuries there, the other two died on the spot.
A man identified as Asgar Ansari was beaten to death in Jharkhand by a group of people after they accused him of carrying beef in his car.
A Muslim dairy owner was attacked by a group of over 1,000 men after a headless carcass was found near his home. Thirty police personnel were also injured as the mob laid a siege around 55-year-old Usman Ansari’s house.
