Vinayak , a close aide of the guru for decades, was seen distraught in hospital, his shirt streaked with blood. He was among those who broke down the door to find his body and rushed him to hospital.
“In the suicide note, Maharaj has asked his devotee, Vinayak to handle the property and business related affairs,” DIG Harinarayanachari Mishra told reporters outside his house in Silver Springs. Most of the other residents didn’t bother to check why a large police force had swarmed a house in their neighbourhood.

DIG Mishra said, “Police are going through CCTV footage and his mobile records. We hope to learn the reasons behind his suicide in 24 hours.”
