NEW DELHI: A magnitude 4.9 earthquake jolted people in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) on Wednesday night.

The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said the quake originated 121 km east of Dehradun in Uttarakhand.

Tremors were also felt in different parts of the country.
